Heinz Memorial Chapel on the University of Pittsburgh campus, a fine example of French Gothic architecture, is ecumenical in spirit. Carved of Indiana limestone, its delicate traceries recall La Petite Sainte Chapelle in Paris. The 23 stained glass windows (four of which are among the tallest in the world - 73 feet) depict themes of Christianity utilizing religious and historical figures.
